Does jailbreaking 4.3.1 cause signal issues?
It sure seems like in getting very few bars right now on my device. In sitting at 1 right now in a building but even outside it's capping out at 3. Seemed like before I jailbroke it was at 5 bars usually. Has this been a reported issue or am I paranoid?( IPhone 4)

my question then becomes how to safely restore to factory? does the phone need to be on or off or what? with the tethered jailbreak im not sure how that works

hmm, that's interesting. I just bought a used 3GS, tethered jailbroke it on 4.3.1 and also replaced the screen and housing. I tried putting my sim card in it and I was only getting one bar and can't make any outgoing calls. I thought maybe I did something wrong when I was transferring all the parts from the old housing into the new housing but now you've given me hope that it could just be from the jailbreak.
