Jailbreak 3GS on 4.3.1 - Error 2005.
Hi.
I try to jailbreak my iPhone [3GS]. It's on 4.3.1, so I'm using sn0wbreeze (since it's the only tool that you can jailbreak 4.3.1 with).
When the CFW is created and I'm trying to restore my iPhone in iTunes error 2005 appears...
any idea on how to fix this?

Are you using the snowbreeze DFU to put your iphone into dfu mode.

Yes, and I also tried iREB to put it into DFU mode. But the error still appears.

From my understanding, Pwnage tools 4.2 , the 4.3.1 bundles is meant for iphone 4 at 4.3.1.
Not sure if snowbreeze can create a cfw of 4.3.1 for 3gs
You can check the guides hereLast edited by iYeow; 03-29-2011 at 07:56 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

yes it is i have a 3gs running 4.3.1 this is what apple says the error is "Error 2000-2009: (2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2009, and so on) If you experience this issue on a Mac, disconnect third-party devices, hubs, spare cables, displays, reset the SMC, and then try to restore. Learn how to reset the SMC. If you are using a Windows computer, remove all USB devices and spare cables other than your keyboard, mouse, and the device, restart the computer, and try to restore. If that does not resolve, try the USB issue-resolution steps and articles listed for Error 1604 above. If the issue continues, it may be related to conflicting security software." Not sure what OS your running but if i read this correctly it may be a USB related issue
