Trying to upgrade to 4.2.1

Hey guys,

I have an iPhone 4 that is currently running 4.1 and I'm trying to upgrade it to 4.2.1. The phone is jailbroken using greenposi0n.

I saved my SHSH using TinyUmbrella and it says it has the 4.3 SHSH saved.

I've tried downloading the 4.2.1 firmware and updating my phone using that in DFU, Restore, and normal mode and still nothing.

Tried the same with 4.1 and nothing.

I keep getting a 3419 error.

Can anyone help?

You have to have 4.2.1 shsh saved to be able to downgerade to 4.2.1 fw

But I'm trying to upgrade from 4.1 to 4.2.1. I don't want to upgrade to 4.3.

You cant upgrade unless you have the 4.2.1 shsh blobs saved which you are saying you dont so you an only go up to 4.3

Another question though: the loader app that installs through greenposi0n doesn't start up. I've tried re-jailbreaking many times but it still doesn't work. What can I do?

Hmm not sure I am not a fan of gp so maybe someone else can chime in

Run redsn0w 0.9.6rc8 on it to install Cydia then.
