    Default Notifications on iPhone 4

Hi. For some reason when I'm at my house, the notifications for apps are NOT delivered to my phone. However, whenever I'm somewhere else with wifi (since I use the phone as an iPod, waiting for unlock) the phone actually receives the notifications.

The only difference between my house and the other places is that my internet has a ping of about 200-300 and the speed it top at 2 mb/s. Also for some reason, the router says in located in Ohio, when in actually in illionois.

All other wifi locations have a pong of about 60-100 and a speed of about 10-20mb/s. And show the correct location in maps for example.

Why dont they work at my house?!
Does the high ping contribute to me not receiving them?
    Or is it the speed?
Or the fact that my router says I'm located somewhere else?
    Thanks

I have no idea other than a firewall/port/DNS conflict or just good ole reverse pareidolia... haven't heard of one particular known good connection not delivering push notifications when they are being delivered correctly elsewhere.

You can always try iPusher (free in the App Store) to test your push notifications more easily BTW.

Sounds like firewall or maybe upnp, but I doubt that. Basically what orby said. Lol

The thing is, I installed iconnotifier and that's when they don't work. If I were to delete that app in Cydia, the begin working. But the thing is that even though I have that iconnotifer, they still work on the better Internet connections. I have upnp enables on my router

Maybe not now. I don't have the time to do it and reput all my music apps etc on it. I will test it tomorrow at school and see if they work there.
