Ive been away from iphones for a little while now but am looking to come back. Last time I had an iphone, I had a 3gs but couldnt unlock it at the time because it was on 4.2.1 and was on at&t. At time I could not unlock as I had updated the baseband when I updated to 4.2.1. How have things moved on since? I am looking to purchase an iphone 4 from the US (I live in the UK). The phone will probably be locked to at&t OR Verizon but wonbt know till I have found the one I want. Is the latest IOS and baseband unlockable? In fact, can it be jailbroken yet? Yeah I could have done a search before anyone screams at me to use the search facility. I dont have time but if anyone can take the time to answer my question I would appreicate it. Thanks in advance guys.
4.2.1 is untethered and 4.3 is tethered atm(stay on 4.2.1) and i know you Can always upgrade to iPad baseband and unlock, but this mights screw your gps
