current 3gs unlock/jailbreak

Hi,

it's been awhile since i last updated my iphone so right now i have no idea what the current workable unlock version is.

what i have right now is:

Iphone 3gs
version: 3.1.3
baseband: 05.12.01

i'm not very sure if the version i can unlock to is 4.0 or 4.1+ so can someone point me to the right direction and also maybe tell me which program to use. Thanks.

Use PwnageTool to make a custom 4.2.1 firmware and then shift-restore using iTunes.
