I need some help! I wanna upgrade to 4.2 on my 4th gen iPod Touch, but I don't wanna lose my jailbreak and stuff. Complete guide? thx, Moby

You will lose your jailbreak with any update or restore. You have to jailbreak again and download all your jailbreak stuff.

Do you have 4.2.1 SHSH?

It's called daddy because I have a shuffle called diddy and a Apple TV called Grandaddy

Seems like you only have SHSH blobs saved for iOS 4.3, I wouldn't update if I were you.

I would wait for an untethered/official jailbreak tool to be released.
