    Default Cydia is empty?

My packages, sources, sections, and changes all have nothing in them. I have resprung, put into safe mode, and presse refresh. Simply nothing appears in these sections. What could have caused this and how can I fix it? P.S. I recently downloaded biteSMS, but I highly doubt that would have anything to do with this.

Try readding a few sources... If you have no sources in there then you obv. wont have anything else showing up either. However, I do not know whyt he sources would have gone away.

I just restarted Cydia then reloaded. And it worked great. If not, the next step I would take is restoring and reinstalling Cydia.

How would I overwrite Cydia without restoring and rejailbreaking?

    navigate to var/lib/apt/lists,
delete everything EXCEPT the partial folder
go in to the partial folder and delete everything in there
reboot, (not respring) restart cydia, give thanks!!
