iPhone disabled
Hi there,
I have an iPhone 3GS 32g, on 4.2.1 tethered jailbroken with redsn0w 0.9.6b5, and unlocked with ultrasn0w (baseband 06.15.00)
Lately I tried to re jailbreak it with greepoison to untether it (which already worked fine with another iPhone)
When switching it on it said iPhone disabled try again in about 40 years ...
I tried then to restore it to 4.2.1 to do everything all over again but by then iOS 4.3 was already released.
I put it in DFU mode and tried to restore it anyways legitimately to 4.3 then seek for a solution but doesn't work and gives me error 1015, I have the latest 10.2 iTunes !
---
SORRY FOR THE LONG TEXT BUT BARE WITH ME :s
now I am looking for any solution ... the iphone is stuck on the screen connect to iTunes !
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND PATIENCE !!

thats a new one on me...
You haven't accidentally given out your phone details like ID and IMEI recently have you?
It's possible someone has reported your phone stolen?Being an i can be a lot of pressure. you have to live right up to the small point.

Yikes that looks awful. I've never seen such a long try again time I thought you were just kidding about the 40 years.
It days disabled for me when I enter my passcode too many times and fail (my stupid friend passcode locked my phone once). But this doesn't seem like the problem bc for me it just asked me to wait 15 minutes.
Maybe your phone got hacked?
It isn't still on that screen is it? Just stuck in recovery?

Now it is stuck in recovery
Last week I would've been able to restore it with the 4.2.1 from itunes with a custom firmware with pwned DFU mode from redsn0w
but now with the new ios 4.3 I can't figure out what to do !! and it gives me error1015 when i try to restore it normally using itunes :s
I am trying to find a way to jailbreak with a custom firmware of this 4.3...
This doesn't look good for the moment ..

Try to 4.2.1 again. I don't even think Apple stopped signing that yet. If you get 1015 just jb with greenpois0n after to get it out of recovery.

I tried already the second day after the release of 4.3
iTunes stopped accepting ALL firmwares below the 4.3, this is why I am stuck and need to find a way to customize this same latest firmware
or any other solution to jailbreak it
I think that for the moment there is no solution, I looked a little bit in the internet in vain ..

So I'm guessing you don't have any SHSHs saved?

The problem is you upgraded the baseband to the iPad one. You are going to need a custom FW to restore.

Lol. It's all good.
I'm on my iPhone now so I can't tell OS you computer is running. Soo, what is it? If it is a Mac you should be good to use pwnage tool to make a custom FW. If you're on a PC, use snowbreeze.

You can try without SHSHs to 4.2.1 but I'm not sure if it is still being signed.
Download sn0wbreeze and just google a guide. There are lots that have pictures for you to follow. Just google search "sn0wbreeze 4.2.1"
You can download sn0wbreeze from ih8sn0w.com

I found this, a new snowbreeze that works with 4.3
do you think I should do it ?
Snowbreeze 2.3 for 4.3 Jailbreak for iPhone 3GS, 4, iPad & iPod Touch

No. It is a beta jailbreak that is tethered. Also pretty much nothing will work because mobilesubstrate needs and update. Try and get back to 4.2.1

I wish I could !! but itunes doesnt accept firmwares below 4.3
4.2.1 is not signed anymore ..

Then I would just stick with 4.3 and enjoy the safari speed improvements until a jailbreak is released. It should be shortly.

I'm new to this forum. I was looking around and apparently a new version of sn0wbreez(version 2.3b1) is out and can jailbreak iOS 4.3 although it's tethered you should give it a try.

yes we talked about it in the previous page, apparently Mobilesustrate doesn't work with it (I don't know what this exactly is but it sounds pretty important
)
