Lost contacts, notes, photos after JB

Apologies if I'm in the wrong area.

I jailbroke my IP4 last week using pwnage to 4.2.1 (8C148)

I did back up prior to the JB.

When I got to itunes, I set the phone up as a new phone. I believe I used this in the past without a problem. This time I lost all contacts, notes, and photos.

I tried to synch the sim card without luck as well.

If I "restore" will this undo the JB?

Tried iphonebackupextractor and I can't get it to load.

Tried Juice and while I got it to work, I can't figure out how to get back ups into the phone.
