    Default ERROR: Apples5l8920xiopsdioiopmanager

    My iphone is:
    iphone 3gs v:4.2.1 BB:6.something can't remember

I tried jailbreaking using greenposion and this is what keeps happening.

Apples5l8920xiopsdioiopmanager: :init(): Failed to get Apples5l8920xarm7m after 3 70 sec.

    NOW WHAT?

I tried redsn0w and it errors out too. It just has a spinning thing in the center and there's a white box in the upper left cornet.

I've tried snowbreeze, tiny umbrella, redsn0w, limera1n. You name it I've probably tried it.

I tried just simply hitting restore in itunes. It give me a 1015 error.

I just want it back to factory settings... No Jailbreak. Just back the way it was when I first got it at apple.

    PLEASE HELP

Baseband version numbers cannot decrease, and the stock firmware has a check for the correct firmware number in it (it's checking for 05.15.04/05.16.00, and you have 06.15.00). This mismatch is causing the 1015 error in iTunes most likely.

Your only option for restoring your firmware is a custom IPSW firmware file made by PwnageTool or Sn0wbreeze. TinyUmbrella should also be able to fix your recovery loop (Connect your iPhone to your computer in DFU mode, open TinyUmbrella, click Fix Recovery, hope for the best). If TinyUmbrella doesn't do it, you will have to go the custom firmware route.
