Default Jailbroken 3g stuck on apple logo

    ERROR 1015
    ERROR 1015
    ERROR 1015

THis seems to be a common error but most situations I've read aren't exactly like mine and the fixes that I've tried aren't working. So after a week of other forums here I am. I bought an iphone 3g that was jailbroken and the seller reset or restored it to wipe his info so when he returned it to me I now have an iphone that can't get past the apple screen and itunes USB cable screen. Now all I can do is get into dfu mode or sit on an apple screen. I've tried to restore with custom ipsw, new firmware and so on but one it's complete I get an error 1015.
I contacted apple earlier and they took me through going to different pc's and such and that didn't work then a senior advisor was dispatched and he told me the phone was probably jailbroken and that apple doesn't offer tech support beyond this point. He said error 1015 was really specific and it mean it's jailbroken. Now I've read about error 1015 and it says it's an attempt to downgrade firmware and I'm not trying to downgrade I've been trying to get the latest available so I assume now error 1015 is a side effect of jailbreaking and restoring...

If anyone can go beyond this with me I'd appreciate it.

    Programs tried:
    tinyUmbrella
    recboot
    ireb
    redsn0w
    Pwnage tool

I've already done that I think I posted it in my post above. But anywho I can get out of recovery mode if you call getting to the black apple screen a success. But once I get it out of recovery and restore it I get an error 1015. It's a specific error for jailbroken phones apparently bc apple sure knew about it..
