Default iOS 4.3 Battery drain (cant turn off ping)

Ugggh i did the update an bam battery drain! So i read a thread that says to turn off ping but i forgot my restrictions PW. I haven't restored as new cuz i don't want to lose all my sms history an call history and whatever else. Also there are no restrictions even turned on, i just turned it on/off once to see if it worked for explicit music (which it didn't).

Does anyone no if there's a way around this..?

Also i had no luck with the update at first until i read a thread on changing something in the terminal. Thank you so much btw to whoever it was that figured that one out!

Maybe there's a way to turn ping off through itunes instead?
