Downgrading from iOS 4.3 to 4.2.1
I tried shift + right click restore in iTunes manually to 4.2.1 but itunes said the firmware is incompatible.
What else would I need to do here ?
The phone is factory unlocked and I did not backup my SHSH or whatever using TinyUmbrella coz I do not know how to do it

without SHSH blobs you will NOT be able to downgrade,
new iTunes stops 4.2.1 from being installed
Apples Technique Won't allowed old Firmwares to be signed (unless you go round it using 3rd party TinyUmbrella and have your SHSH blob)
you're stuck on 4.3 im afraidBeing an i can be a lot of pressure. you have to live right up to the small point.

Restore Iphone 4 to 4.2.1
Hi i have an iphone 4 which comes originally with 4.2.1 and 3.10.01. It supposed to be factory unlocked but when i activated it with FIDO ( career in Canada ) the Phone now works only with fido. The iphone is Jailbroken . What i have done i called AppStore they confirmed to me that the iphone was originally unlocked and after activation it's locked to fido ( weird situation what does the factory unlock mean in this case ). So i thought that it was a mistake i called Fido i gave to theme the IMEI to check if it's a Fido phone and infact they can't find any record with this IMEI which means that the phone is not locked to FIDO ( Weird situation ) i called again AppStore i talked with a second Level technical support and he told me to restore and activate with another career SIM Card . Big surprise when i went to itunes to restore i found out that the new version 4.3 was out i did not want to update to this version because i won't be able to jailbreak and it will upgrade my baseband. So as i have saved my shsh i tried to restore 4.2.1
as its recommanded in this article
Downgrade iOS 4.3 to 4.2.1, 4.1 on iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad, iPod touch [How to Guide] | Redmond Pie
everything worked fine and i got the error 1013 so i tried to exit the recovery mode using Tiny Umbrella and here is the probleme impossible to exit the Recovery Mode
here is an article it explain why .
Please guys do you have some suggestions or solutions it would be appreciated
Exit Recovery Mode For iOS 4.2.1 Using TinyUmbrella No Longer Works!

To the OP, you need to have Java from Java.com, run Tiny Umbrella and click Save SSH blobs, apple is still signing 4.2.1 so tinyumbrella will save everything that is available. Do it right away, then follow the restore process noted before me.
To the person with the 1013, Download tiny umbrella again, it's updated to fix recovery mode, that article is old.If you don't like it, MOD IT!

Tiny umbrella automatically requests blobs for every firmware, You need to use TinyUmbrella it's easy to use, just run TinyUmbrella, select your iphone in the list and hit Save Blobs button. and wait.
If you don't like it, MOD IT!

If they are still signing you Will get it
Connect your device, download newest version of TU (http://www.thefirmwareumbrella.blogspot.com) run TU As administrator, in the left you devices, click the one you need blobs for, and Press save blobs in the top of the program. It Will take a few minutes. Theres a status bar in the bottom indicating when its done. When its done you Can see in the middle All blobs TU saved, if 4.2.1 is there, then downgrade, if not bad luck, you cant downgrade.
