    Default Jailbreak and company cert

My company requires a cert on the phone to connect to our email server. I desperately want to jailbreak my phone to fix apples terrible notification system. Is it possible this would break the cert? I don't want IT to have to help me install that again. How can I extract and back it up? I'm on a new iPhone 4 with OS version 4.2.1

A provisioning profile? You'll need the PKCS certificate yourself, and throw it on your phone with the iPhone Configuration Utility...

Though if you just greenpois0n RC 6.1 on your existing 4.2.1 installation, that may keep your certificate intact--that or redsn0w. No guarantees, as I've never tried it.

Those two tools are the only feasible options I see for keeping your device's certificates in place.

Whatever the least abrasive jailbreak is...

Does the saving blobs work for my cert as well? How do I extract that cert and do you think I will have any issues if I have to resync the phone to get the OS and add the cert back?

I am obviously pretty nervous about doing it on a company phone and the whole reason is because iPhone's notification system is just rancid. I need it to be more like android. No SMS preview... AT ALL. I turned off the message, but even showing the name is all I need to get in trouble lol.

Like the blobs just make it possible for you to back to 4.2.1 download TinyUmbrella and connect your device and click save blobs and Wait. Well i am not sure about if it is too late to save 4.2.1 since 4.3 is out
