    jailbreak wont work on 4.3..

download 4.2.1 if you dont have it and open itunes and hold shift while clicking restore and select 4.2.1 i think apple is still signing 4.2.1

Yea, that 4.2.1 windows is closing very fast. For sure at least get your SHSH saved for it if you haven't already.

So it says 4.2.1?. I think you turn on tss server and shift restore to a stock 4.2.1 in iTunes while it is running. If you receive 16xx error kick out of recovery with TU and you should be on 4.2.1 and you Can jailbreak.

I'm bit of a noob. Still running 4.0.1 and was going to upgrade to 4.2.1 and re-jailbreak. Little did I realise that IOS 4.3 was being released today. Typical that I chose today to do this lol.

Anyways, I just downloaded the 4.2.1 ipsw from the felixbruns link above. Backed up cydia apps with PKGBackup and then backed up through iTunes.
Went to restore whilst holding shift key, selected the 4.2.1 ipsw then it started to verify it through Apple. Then an error popped up saying: "The iPhone could not be restored. An unkown error occured (3014)

Does this mean the window to go to 4.2.1 has closed and I will have to wait until 4.3 is JB??

    Regards
    Lee

Download TinyUmbrella and save blobs. Maybe your lucky and still get 4.2.1. Then try kick out of recovery with it

Hmm, no idea what blobs are lol. Not to worry. I'm in no rush. Will just wait for 4.3 to be JB and will upgrade then

You shouldn't need SHSHs for 4.2.1 right now to restore to it. It's good you saved it though.

But avoiding pointing to Cydia's server with TU will actually probably make the restore easier. Some people are having trouble restoring to 4.2.1 when they are using TU.
