I can't put a Firmware on my phone

I was on 4.2.1 Tethered Jailbreak and Unlocked with ultrasn0w and I tried Greenpoison to get an untethered Jailbreak but I had a problem where the phone kept rebooting and it wouldn't stay on. So I tried to restore and update the phone back to 4.2.1 but now I can't even get iTunes to install a firmware on my phone. So my phone is stuck with no Firmware. How can I get the 4.2.1 Firmware back on my phone without iTunes getting errors? I've tried DFU Mode with Redsn0w and nothing seems to work?! It keeps tricking me thinking it's installing with the progress bar and the Apple logo but after about 10 minutes iTunes error comes up.

OMG I can't follow all this!

1. Ultrasnow cannot unlock 4.2.1 Unless you put Ipad BASeBAND on it
2. GP can jailbreak
3. Redsnow can only tether JB 4.2.1
4. You may need to restore and re jaibreak at this point.

Redsn0w can jailbreak 4.2.1, it's just tethered. He said redsn0w to put into DFU.

He said he used GP to jailbreak and ran into a problem now needs to restore. He is having problems restoring now.

He didn't say anything about unlocking.

The only thing I can think of is they put the Ipad BASeBAND on it?

The baseband was preserved or upgraded. What you listed are not the points of the thread. The point is he can't even restore. We are looking for the error so we can at least restore it.
