Save Game data transfer

Hey all, i have a quick question regarding Game saves on iPhone/iPad. With the official announcement of iPad 2 i intend to buy one as soon as possible. With this I will want to move all my games etc across to my iPad from my iPhone as the bigger screen is so much better for it, Especially Infinity Blade.

Now what i was wondering is can chronus or a similair program that backs up app data be used to transfer data between the two devices?? I know this will require me to wait for an iPad 4.3 Jailbreak.

Or can I just setup my iPad from a backup of my iPhone to keep all the data? This would be preferable as I wouldnt have to wait for a JB, which for a new device could take some time.

used it a billion times, only backup the apps yuo want\have data\plan to keep tho.....
