    Default New phone need advice

    Ok so I broke my old iphone. Bought a used one from a friend. This phone is running IOS 2.1 i only want to upgrade to 3.1.3 anyone have a simple walk through? Im on a windows vista 64 bit platform. After upgraded going to jailbreak this phone.

    Just download the stock ipsw from apple 3.1.3. Shift+restore to 3.1.3 in iTunes and you should be good to go.

    Yes, do as A3gOwner said. You can download the stock IPSW from iPod, iPhone and iPad Firmware Download .
