Jailbreak SOS

Hello-
I live in Singapore and rely on unlock for my iphone to work. I upgraded to ios 4.2.1 and jailbroke using greenpois0n. The jailbreak worked excellent and i installed several items from cydia. When i installed ultrasn0w to unlock the file, it didnt work. Ive tried reinstalling ultrasn0w a few times plus many other options to try and make it work, but nothing will work.

Pleas Help!

If Im not unlocked I have no phone.

What type of iPhone do you have and what is your baseband/modem firmware?

iPhone 3GS, Modem Firmware: 05.15.04

Run redsn0w 0.9.6 rc8 on top of GP jailbreak, browse to stock 4.2.1 and only choose iPad bb. unlock with ultrasnow from cydia.
Be prepared if Gps doesn't work

So...I need to download redsn0w and do that with greenpois0n still on it? And what is the ipad bb? Sorry I'm a total tech nerd but jailbreaking really isn't my thing.

ultrasnow will not work on that baseband. To unlock you would need to install the ipad baseband with redsnow like Yeow said. Be aware installing the iPad baseband is a one way street. No coming back from it and you will lose gps if you do.

wait form ios 4.2.1-4.3 unlock. its like 2 weeks wait and you wont regret going to the ipad BB.

Possibily not going to happen anytime soon. The new unlock is for iPhone 4 baseband.
