Default new iPhone 4 --> Greenpois0n --> usb connection problem

Hi. I have recently gotten a new iPhone 4 with 4.2.1 (obviously). With windows I used greenpois0n to jailbreak. And it worked great. Now, however, the phone doesn't get recognized by any computer I connect it to. It charges, sometimes, when connected to a wall jack. I am resetting the phone completely under settings, general, reset. I don't think this will erase greenpois0n though. Assuming that it's a problem with the connection port and not greenpois0n I don't believe att/apple will allow an exchange on this phone since it's jailbroken even though it's less than a week old. Can anyone tell me a way that I can get rid of the jailbreak so they won't tell me I'm f@#ked?

    PLEASE
    and Thank You

    Cool Same here

I pretty much have the same problem.

My iPhone 4 simply won't connect to anything under DFU/restore and I tried: six different cables, MACs, PCs even SSHing into it over WiFI (connection actively refused), etc

At the moment, I can receive & answer calls but cannot make any b/c I am stuck with the Emergency screen

I'm now ready to take it to Apple under the assumption that the doc connector is dead.

Now, Apple will definitely see my MP2 theme and my LockInfo stuff that is visible at screen lock stage both screaming JB'ed iPhone, sorry cannot service your request type of response.

    Any suggestions?

I was thinking about putting it into DFU (play dead iPhone play dead) that way (IF THE CONNECTOR IS INDEED DEAD) they would have to think really hard about trying the 5-8 sec manual reboot simple b/c the phone just appears dead and since the dock connector is dead no further interaction will be possible.

I was also thinking about putting into RECOVERY but that is a much more straight forward "let's try the manual reboot" move on Apple's part b/c they won't get any kind of action from the connecting it to the computer.

    Any other suggestions?

    Cheers!

Do a full restore from iTunes and it will remove your jailbreak and there's no way apple can know that it's been jailbroken after a full restore.

^ Kinda hard to restore if the computer isn't recognizing the phone.

@budsalinger Try using a different USB cable and/or computer.

Take one second out of the time spent asking the last question & please connect the dots: NO ITUNES, NO RESTORE, NO DFU, whatsoever ... as this situation resolves to either a non-serviceable DOCK CONNECTOR or an iPhone gone off the reserve (literally as the DFU, as the last resort, ain't working).

    Cheers!
