    Default Cydia is screwed up?!??

I found this app on Cydia but when I tried to install it it told me to delete a whole ton of apps. It was an awesome app so I thought "I can redownload them" then it said removing essentials so I clicked install anyway then it re springed ad Cydia was gone! So I Used GP and re jailbroke and I clicked on the loader app and hit install Cydia but it said cydia was already installed! But it wasn't on the springboard! So I browsed my iPod through iFile and found the loader app with Cydia.app so I installed it into my iPhone and now Cydia is on the springboard but I click it and it opens for.a second and ten closes. HELP ME PLEASE REINSTALL CYDIA!!! )

Sorry, bad news. The only thing you can do is restore back to original firmware. Go into iTunes with your iPod plugged in and click Restore. Then rejailbreak and you should be able to install Cydia. You can Google it for more detailed instructions.

    Good Luck!

no, actually you can just download the latest redsnow distribution and only check the "just install cydia" option and it will reload cydia on for you and you will be back in action
