4.1 to 4.2.1

I have a jailbroken 3gs with version 4.1 and the 06.15.00 ipad baseband.

Is there anyway i can update the OS to 4.2.1 without it messing my iphone up, with having the ipad baseband i can not restore to origional without getting the 1015 error.

If i can update what are the benifits of 4.2.1 from 4.1 and if it is possible would i have to use greenpoison.

you can't upgrade. unless you get a 4.2.1 cf with the iPad baseband on. that was the problem with updating to that baseband. you will not be able to update normally until apple reach 06.15 if they ever do !

you need a custom 4.2.1 firmware

use redsnow 9.6b6 enter pwnd dfu then install custom

I think i will get rid of this iphone and get another one, im limited with the ipad baseband that is on it.
