Default Removing Sources (common action, uncommon problem)

    Hi all,

I will need you to stop and read on before you close this window after reading the first sentence.

I am trying to remove elpelle6.com/repo from my sources.

I have read a lot of posts in various forums about removing it by deleting the files related elpelle6.com/ in

    var/lib/apt/list

    &

    var/lib/apt/list/partial folder, and also

    etc/apt/sources.list.d/cydia.list

I have tried them many many(countless) times, but these sources just keep re-appearing after i enter cydia -> changes -> refresh.

And because this source is no longer usable, it always return an error message:

GPG error: Contact Support ./Release: The following signatures were invalid: NODATA 1 NODATA 2

    Failed to fetch
Contact Support ./Packages.bz2 Sub-process /bin/bzip2 returned an error code (2)

    My question is:

How do I completely remove elpelle6.com/repo from my list of sources, and stop it from resurfacing by itself(autoinstalling).

Thank you all for either reading my post, and a big thumbs up to those who can help me with this problem.

    (:

yeah really... removing via cydia would have been the easiest, SSHing into the phone is only for the dafault sources that you don't want. All others can be removed via Cydia.

Did you use pkgback to restore your sources?

The source elpelle6.com/repo does not show up on my cydia source list.

maybe it is because it didn't fully install itself the first time i added it, because it was already down.

    and i don't have pkgback.

    Thanks for your help nonetheless!

could try uninstall cyria via mobile terminal then deleted the source then reinstall cydia via mobile terminal ( if reinstalling cydia fails, use redsn0w)
