Aptbackup source

I recently had to restore my phone (3gs 4.2.1) and had a ton of cydia packages backed up with aptbackup but when I re-jailbroke it, the big boss repo wasnt added and I can't find a URL that works. Can anyone tell me the working big boss source or any other repo with aptbackup in it?

The bigboss url should be automatically added when you do your jailbreak. You can go to manage and add the source manually or rejailbreak againm after restoring.

Thanks for the quick reply but for some reason this time it wasn't automatically added and the repo urls arent working, I get an error. I did download the aptbackup.deb, how can I install it from my pc? I cannot find an autoinstall folder to put it in through ssh

aptbackup is for you to backup up your themes and other stuffs, not backup bigboss.
If you can open up Cydia, add this url to your source :http://apt.thebigboss.org/repofiles/cydia ,

If you can't add it, then restore and jailbreak again.

Thanks ill try the urls again, if they still don't work its not the end of the world I just have to re-install the packages 1 by 1.

You can rerun Redsn0w on top of GP to get your sources. Just choose install cydia

When you open cydia does it say you need some essential updates? I didnt have the aptbackup either untill I updated the essential thing, i think the source was in there. Hope this helps
