Would whited00r be of any use on the 3GS. Maybe making it back to how it ran on 3.x.x? With battery life, running speed etc?

No, Whitedoor is only meant for iphone 2g,3g , itouch 1g and 2g. 3gs is capable of handling IOS 4.2.1 and whitedoor does not support it.

Oh
wish their was something cause iOS 4 don't work as well as OS 3 did.

I have a 3GS and it runs perfectly on iOS 4.2.1, if you are having problems I suggest clear up your iPhone a bit, delete unneeded apps, music, photos.

Also turn off the spotlight search items in the settings
I come bearing a gift. I'll give you a hint. It's in my diaper and it's not a toaster.
