Why won't this thing ever restore?
Everytime I go to upgrade my iPhone I swear its a 2 day process. Between me trying itunes, installing and uninstalling 10 times, the restore bar just freezes and doesnt move at 60%. I tried a pwnagetool custom ipsw and it froze at 98%. Everytime I go to update I have to go to a friends house, use a totally different computer and even then it only works once in a while. Like what the **** apple. I don't even have a jailbroken iphone and its impossible to upgrade. Why??
I searched for these topics and all everyone says is 'it needs to be in DFU mode' well i put it in DFU mode and it still does it. So any advice?

I've downloaded a few from iclarified and tried those but they turned up failing as well. I'll try again though from here.
Thanks.

I tried using my friends computer and it restored fine. same with my apple tv. I don't get why it doesnt work on my computer. I just did a complete reinstall of osx and it still does this.
