There will be a new version when that method of injection (userland, through the browser with a downloaded file) becomes the most (or only) viable method.

I don't know when that will be, but I can safely tell you don't hold your breath. As long as limera1n (and SHAtter) are still in new device's bootroms, there won't be a need for a browser-based userland jailbreak.
