Default Greenpoison / Cydia: Running Out Disk Space

Hey all .. first time I did a jailbreak and it was done on my iPhone 3GS 16gb. Everything went fine and is currently running fine as well. Some themes and addons were downloaded/installed but now it is giving me an error "running low on disk space" when I try to install a new app/addon/theme Browsing Cydia is fine.

Any ideas? Greenpoision RC6 was used for Jailbreaking if that helps.

System partition is 500mb .. I just realised though that ringtones are store here and I uploaded something like 150 ringtones 2wks back prior to jailbreaking and they are probably stored here, right? I think if I remove those, as not all are needed it might free up space?

Well I removed some ringtones but didn't seem to make a difference and it still says 83mb free .. what could be on the system partition that I could remove? I heard of something called syspartition to move certain system files to user partion with linkbacks but not sure if it is reliable or not.

Any further help would be much appreciated.

Didn't get a chance to go through SB as it seemed to be outdated per the link above but I did upgrade to GP RC6.1. Everything was working fine for the past couple of days but last night I noticed it went from 83mb free to 68mb .. not sure what installed or happened I did install fonts and some themes but then removed them yet it didn't make a difference on the free space. I am intendeding to restore and re-jailbreak but will it make a difference?
