    Default Reset with ios 4.3?

If this is elsewhere, i apologise. But i'm new here so...

    One question.

I recently jailbroke my iphone 3gs ios 4.2.1. (with greenp0ison) The only reason i did it was to access the root file and have 1 single solitary personalised text tone.

The loader wouldn't work and I had no cydia but i found out about iphone browser, promptly downloaded it and found i could still access the root file - and thus have my much loved text tone.

However, and here is my question, I had jailbroken before successfully got cydia opened ssh and got my text tone the difficult way. BUT when i updated to os 4.2.1 the tone had reset and was back to the one of 5 rubbish ones i had before.
If i update to 4.3 will the same thing happen again?

I don't want to keep jailbreaking it as i tried to do my mums 3g the other day and it crashed and i had to restore it

    Thanks for any info

Any time you restore the firmware (which is necessary to do the firmware upgrade) you'll lose all personalization on the device (unless you do an upgrade rather than a restore in iTunes, but that can get very sticky and messy).

In short, yes, but since there are already multiple jailbreak exploits waiting for iOS 4.3, it'll be a simple matter of re-jailbreaking, getting Cydia on there (Loader's crap, sorry westbaer!), and making the replacement/addition via SFTP.

Don't update it (good practice for maintaining jailbreaks anyway).

    Thank you.

Didn't seem worth updating for the new features anyway.

    Cheers
