Liquid damaged Iphone 4 question????
Hi everyone. I am new to the site so go easy on me! lol anyway i damaged my jailbroken iphone 4 on 4.1 firmware by dropping it in water and obviously it dosen't turn on now. Getting a new one on insurance, but will i be able to jailbreak if it comes with 4.2 firmware by just using greenpoison just the same as with 4.1? I did save my SHSH blobs to cydia before it broke. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx

Your SHSHs for the first device is no good for the new one.
Aside from that, you can jb with greenpois0n on 4.2.1 just fine

i've never heard of ANY phone that gets wet more than the iPhone...seriously. People getting thrown in lakes, dropping int into tubs, sinks and toilets...
people, stop surfing the net when you're on the crapper!60% of the time, it works every time.

lol i dropped my phone in my sink before (slipped out of my shirt pocket). Anyrate it got wets etc and speakers and mic didn't work. put it into a bowl of white rice and 2 days later good as new (though a week later something else broke and it had to be sent back to apple, but yeah).
white rice is such pwnage for saving lightly watered iphones

lol wasn't crapper this time!! ha ha sink got it! One question tho how does rice get water out of the inside of a fone, or more to the point how did ya find the out? lol great if it did work.
That is one good thing about other phones having a battery cover so you can take it apart and dry it in a warm place that usually sorts those out with water damage.
