Default Help Cydia Crashing Manage Packages

hi when i go to cydia manage packages and scroll down cydia crashes and closes. it happens when i get to the beginning of b section. i have read many forums and tried the recommendations there but with no luck i think the problem could possibly be base structure as i have removed other packages around it however i believe it is unsafe to remove base structure any advice, many many thanks in advance.

This happened to be too, got really annoyed. I used terminal for iphone... apt-get remove Cydia

    Then: apt-get install Cydia

That should help you out, but my installation didn't work for me trying to reinstall cydia, so i just re ran redsn0w 'install cydia'. That also didn't work, so I then ran greenp0sion which did!

try it in that order and it should clear it up

what does it say when you type apt-get remove cydia and say 'yes, do as i say'?

also make sure cydia is not running in the background. I just did this a week ago, should work >.>

try hard booting (power+home till you see the apple logo) and try again?

if it gaves the same error or works, then try reinstalling cydia via the various methods listed above
