Custom Apple boot logo

I have an old bootrom 3GS that is jailbreaked with 4.2.1 iOS.

Since I didn't use Greenpois0n to jailbreak, how can I still get their custom boot logo? I have downloaded some (well I was thinking) possible necessary apps from Cydia to do this, like Apple Boot Logo, but I do not get the custom boot.

How can I get the custom boot logo without Greenpois0n?

Use redsn0w 0.9.6rc8, point to the 3GS 4.2.1 stock IPSW, and just select "use custom boot logo."

redsn0w only allows me to add a single PNG file

How can I add the Greenpois0n custom boot logo without installing Greenpois0n?
