    Default confusing about shsh blobs

    Hey guys

so I just got this iphone 4 off craigslist, the firmware version it says is 4.0.2 and the baseband is 1.59.00.. so everything is amazing.. i jailbroke and unlocked it already.. the problem is when i tried to save my shsh blobs for the phone.. cydia says they are saved for 4.2.1 os.. why isnt it saving for 4.0.2? when i used tinyumberalla it says im too late to save for 4.0.2 but im runnin 4.0.2 now!? anyone know how this whole thing works.. i might just be a newb at it lol

SHSH doesnt have anything to do with what firmware the phone is on. It has everything to do with what firmware Apple is currently signing. Which right now is 4.2.1. For you to have 4.0.2 SHSH you will have needed to save them when 4.0.2 was the most current firmware available as that is the firmware that Apple signs.
