I also tried deleteing cydia by removing it through cydia installer and it deleted cydia but when i go to the loader app it say cydia is installed on iphone and i know its been delete. Please help thanks

I had the exact problem and i updated cydia. Download cydia http://onlinegamesnz.orconhosting.ne...honeos-arm.deb and install with ifile over existing cydia. Reboot device. Lets us know how you go.

    Cheers

No just read and be extra careful when installing packages use trusted sources and make sure the package is 4.2.1 compatible. But i think this is a weakness in the rc5 jailbreak. Youll be algud now

No problem! Glad i could help

Just install using ifile. Or paste in var/tmp and open mobileterminal and type

    dpkg -i var/tmp/cydiafile.deb

With cydiafile being the new version of cydia downloaded

Not sure if I did anything wrong or not but I just dropped the file into Applications and again in the Cydia app within Applications and it worked lol. My problem was different though, just got my phone replaced today so I rejailbreak with GP but nothing would load on Cydia, it was fail to even 'download' the first screen let alone try to download the stuff in the changes tab. I did this though and everything's working, not sure if it was the reboot or that file but it's cool now.
