Hello all,
I have (another) 3gs which I have had a few months now.....
My other phone died and was jailbroken .... In fact I'd used several different unlocks and jailbreaks as new firmware and upg's were applied.
However.... This new one is being a right little s*%#......
I'm on 4.2.1 with baseband 05.15.04 and it's a new bootroom......
I had tried a tethered jailbreak with redsn0w but just got stuck at the apple logo after trying to load winterboard..... managed to sort that and just have it as apple intended (boo)
Thought I'd wait until the untethered jailbreak came out.
I've been trying the new greenpois0n on windows and I've found my phone won't get into dfu mode?
Or maybe greenpios0n won't recognise it's in dfu?
I don't know......
Has anyone else experienced this?

I havent seen a problem with GP recognizing dfu mode. Make the sure the device driver installs fully, turn iphone off completely, open greenpois0n, put device into dfu mode, gp should recognize the device in dfu, select jailbreak.

Maybe try using a different usb port and/or usb cable if the problem persists

GP should recognize the phone in DFU. Does iTunes recognize the phone in DFU? Might want to check the device manager in Windows to see if Windows itself recognizes the phone in DFU.
