hee hee, i know what u mean!! i'm trying to upgrade to 4.1 from 4.0.1 myself. anybody out there knowns how well 4.2 preforms on 3G if its no difference i'll just update to 4.2 and j/b with greenpoisonrc6

4.2.1 does slow down the 3G and 3.1.3 runs fastest on the iPhone 3G.

I'd just read the start of this thread. iPittsburg says 3.1.3 is the best for 3g. If you have 3gs then please ignore this reply.

Ok, I've got another question, my good friend is thinking about to purchase the i4 I do believe it comes with 4.2, I know is jailbreakable with greenposion rc6 but I don't know if it's unlockable. Can u tell me if it's unlockable and with which app?

The only ip4 baseband supported by the ultrasn0w unlock is 1.59.00 which came with 4.0-4.0.2.

4.2.1 came with 3.10 which at the moment cannot be unlocked, but there have been rumors that a new unlock might be released after 4.3 is released to the public.
