4.2.1 Jailbreak via Greenpois0n - MyWi wont download
I have recently upgraded my jailbreak to be on firmware 4.2.1 and now when i come to reinstall MyWi it hangs at "Downloading Mobile Substrate" before throwing up an error and quitting.
At first it wouldn't even find the repo but i SSH'd into it and added the modmyi repo.
Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I added it. But it will still not show up on my sources list in cydia. Is the repo down or something? Ive read on the forums this is happening to others as well... anyone know how we can check if the repo is online or offline?

You'll need to restart your device, however, this is still causing issues for me so i'm going to remove this repo via SSH again and then try re-installing cydia through redsn0w. I'll keep you posted with my progress.
I have now done the above and cydia was reinstalled with the modmyi repo by default but i am still struggling to download mywi. Unless there is a much larger underlying issue i would say modmyi repo is down (possibly due to the amount of access it will of had this weekend due to the GreenPois0n update.Last edited by Jon.Dukes; 02-06-2011 at 04:17 PM. Sources are showing up. I could install the mywi through the ***** source. It would not install through ModMyi. I Just purchased the MyWi On Demand (it is not on ***** and cannot download it through ModMyi)

I think the problem is with the modmyi repo. I am also having trouble downloading MyWi and also having trouble with Glasklart, but was able to get things from Bigboss repo.

So, I got up early this morning and refreshed and updated my Cydia and all sources are now up and running. The issue must be purely down to traffic. Thanks for your input guys!

I've just updated to 4.2.1 an re-jailbroke. Cydia isn't finding any of my sources, nor will it allow me to add any... anybody got any clues??

Thats weird that the repo is down for you guys. Maybe since it was up again yesterday there is heavy traffic yet again. although all the sources shuold work besides modmyi.

just stay away from MyWi for now. i couldn't even remove it without a firmware restore.
so early on in a JB's life, just install only the most essential Cydia apps you must have.60% of the time, it works every time.
