Angry Stuck in weird loop after 4.2.1 Greenpois0n JB

I have an iPhone 4. Upgraded to 4.2.1 and jailbroke with Greenpois0n.
Everything was fine for a day.
Today I was going back through and re-installing Cydia apps (some were still there already)
Installed qTweeter successfully. Hit "Restart Springboard"
Now the iPhone restarts to a black screen with the standard Toolbar across the top (Carrier, wifi signal, A LOCKED LOCK SYMBOL, Time, Battery %, Battery image and below that the date)
    Nothing else.
    Can't sweep to unlock.
    Tried rebooting
Also, if I let it sit, it reboots itself to the same screen.

    Any ideas?

if things were there after the Jailbreak I take it that you restored from back up after the jailbreak ? this could have brought stuff over from a previous Jailbreak and conflict. it is always better to set up as a new phone on any new jailbreak.

you need to put your phone in DFU and restore to 4.2.1 and re jailbreak and then set up as a new phone and you should be fine

Im pretty sure if you hold the home button and the sleep button for like 10-15 seconds it should reboot up fine. Let me know if that works

There is NO NEED to re-JB, it will re-boot its self a few times, but after that a simple hard-boot (holding power and sleep till screen black-out) it should (and likely will) go through a normal boot and be just peachy

exact same thing happen to me - I had to restore because I tried the hard reset and it would just keep looping

I've probably restored like 8 times because it seems to be very sensitive and hate most apps.. I found after installing lock info the same thing happened...

did you get it resolved? or find a solution

I've been fighting this boot loop all day. Every time I restore I'm able to get the phone up and the JB to work, but then I'll install something from Cydia and it gets stuck again. I'm thinking it's one of several programs which use Mobile Substrate (like qTweeter), but it's hard to know for sure.

Anybody else have a clue on which specific apps will cause this? This time I'm going to install SBSettings first. Maybe that will just kick the phone into safe mode.

Default Boot Loop Greenpoisi0n no home screen no recovery

Thought I would try here because there was no help in the general section. I bought an iPhone4 fro $200 that was knowingly in a bootloop however I was under the assumption that recovery mode was possible as I had seen a picture of it.

It is currently dead and not able to load past the pirate apple with the loading circle it either dies or just doesn't want to turn on.

At this point I assume it will turn on if i get past the pirate skull however I doubt it highly. My next question is does anyone know how to charge the phone without it "trying" to turn on by its own?

Anyone know how to kick it out of the loop there is no recovery mode in this loop.

My parents didn't pay for my iPhone.
*If i help you hit that "Thanks" button for me*
