Need Help, 3GS stuck on boot logo

I have a friends 3gs, on 4.1.2, I installed Cydia. Re-ran redsnow to boot tethered, then tried to install winterboard and mobile substrate, then cydia told me to reboot again, and when it did, it got stuck on the boot logo. What did i do wrong, how can i fix it?

You need to run redsn0w again and tether boot your iphone.
