Should I upgrade firmware and re-jailbreak?

I am currently running firmware 4.0.1 which I jailbroke using jailbreakme.com, what I'm wondering however is if it's worth trying to upgrade to a later firmware and re-jailbreaking my phone and if so, how easy is it to do?

Please advise?

Do you know what SHSH you have and what bootrom your 3GS is?

4.1 added gamecenter and 4.2.1 added airplay and airprint. If you dont care about those things then it probably isnt worth it to update.

The current jailbreak for 4.2.1 is tethered as well. Unless you backup SHSH blobs.

Sorry if I'm stepping on Bane17's thread, however I would also like to know if it is worth it for me to upgrage to the newest 4.2.1, some details on my iPhone are as follows :
3GS
32GB
Factory Unlocked
FW : 4.1
Modem FW : 05.14.02
New Bootrom 359.3.2
Saved Blobs (via Tiny Umbrella)

Advice I am looking for if you may :

Have the iPhone UnTethered.
Which baseband would it be safe to stay, downgrade to (if possible) or go to.
Finally is there any benefit to the upgrade.

PS - Also considering selling and upgrading to the newer iPhone 4
