Default Virtual Memoery on iPhone 3G issue

    Hello all,

Sorry if this is not the right place

I think 1 month ago I installed a tweak for my iPhone 3G from a website. It was something Chinese, and made virtual memory.

Well... It just slows down my device more when I want to free up RAM so I would like to remove it.

I installed it via WinSCP and it's visible in Cydia.

It's under some Chinese letters with (3.x.x) after that. So I'm afraid it is for iOS 3.x.x.

    I run 4.2.1, jailbroken with redsn0w.

Can I just remove it without having my iPhone messed up. And if I did and it crashed, I need to recover.

But a friend of my jailbroken it, so can I restore it and jailbreak it again myself and still use my current simcard? (Vodafone, here in the Netherlands)

    Many thanks

If you installed using Winscp, you should be able to remove it using Winscp as well.
If it meeses up, you can restore and rejailbreak again. Make sure you sync your data with itunes first before you do anything.
Since you are at 4.2.1, and did not use ipad bb, then you must be on official carrier for this iphone, I don't see any reason why you can't use it again on this carrier.
