    Default Jail/ Unlock an iPhone 1st Gen?

    Hey felles.

    I said yes to fix a real old iPhone to a friend. What i did not know is that the phone is locked to a Norwegian carrier.

    And only option in iTunes is restore.
    My Question to you good felles here at modmyi is which firmware should i update to? And which jailbreaker tool/ Unlock should i go for?

    original should only let you upgrade / restore to 3.1.3

    use redsn0w 9.4 and point it at 3.1.2 ipsw.

    finally unlock using bootneuter from cydia.
