iPhone 4 to 4.1 w/o baseband upgrade

Will this still work now?

I have an iPhone 4 on 4.0, will I be able to upgrade to 4.1 and preserve my baseband still? I know in October we could, but I'm not sure if Apple will still allow 4.1's to be on phones.. Any takers?

You need to have saved your SHSHs for any method to work to go to 4.1.

Check for SHSHs for 4.1 with TinyUmbrella first, if you have them then you can upgrade by running the TSS server and shift+restoring to a stock 4.1 ipsw. This will preserve the baseband and allow for unlock.
