Had to restore my phone was on 4.2 and obviously still am. My tether worked just fine b4 restore now it won't work? Any ideas? Am I missing a app?

You're talking about tethering to your computer with your phone's data, right? Try restoring and jb again. If it worked fine before, it should work now. So a restore should clean it right up and fix it.

If you have mywi it seems to be broke for allot of people including myself.

I received this email below from mywi tech support and it fixed my problem connecting with mywi.

"Hi,

Could you try this? In the advanced usb settings of the app check and
see if it is set to wifi. If so please change to 3G, apply and then
check to see if the app works and you are able to make a connection.

Ah ok, didn't know if you were talking about jailbreak tethering or actual tethering via AT&T.
