I bought an iPhone 4 from Sweden with iOS4 in it. I've upgraded to iOS4.1 with 02.10.04 firmware. Due to relocation from Sweden I wanted to unlock it. I jailbroke it with limera1n (because I thought that jailbreak and unlock are the same things...). I know that the 02.10.04 cannot be unlocked (at least so far). I was wondering if I have any options?

If I restore to factory settings will it change the firmware to the one it was when I first bought it or the 02.10.04 will remain?

Should I upgrade to iOS4.2?

Should I just wait and see if an unlock for the 02.10.04 will come out and if not wait for 12 months since my purchase to pass and then have my carrier unlock it?

Hope for you guys to shed some light 'cause I've been searching a decent answer to those questions for many days...
