Default Can't get by 3194 on IPhone 4

I have an Iphone 4 running 4.2.1 and have saved SHSH blobs from when I had 4.1 using TU. The phone has never been jailbroken. I am trying to downgrade to 4.1 so I can jailbreak. I have TUmbrella pointed at directory with SHSH from 4.1 and started the TSS server.

When I try to downgrade, Itunes extracts 4.1 software, then tries to verify with ITunes and kicks me out with error 3194.

I don't think my SHSH are on Saurik's server, I didn't have an internet connection when I saved them with TU.

I have tried pointing to Sauriks's server in host file, but it doesn't seem to be working. What exactly should my host file look like after TU has been started?

    TU v. 4.21.02
    ITunes v. 10.1.1.4

    How do I resolve this?

    I don't think you have 4.1 blob.

Click save shsh in TU , if you see it then you have it.

yes it show's 4.1 SHSH under "show all SHSHs" but........

when I click on Connected devices in TU, the 4.1 disappears.
Could re-naming my iphone cause the SHSH not to be recognized?

No renaming will not affect it. Highlight the blob and start tss server, now do your 4.1 fw restore.

All shsh means, all devices shsh. You have to select your iphone name to use your 4.1 shsh blob.
You cannot use another iphone 4.1 shsh blob to restore this iphone.

I think I've figured out my problem. When I first got my IPhone 4, I could not get the VVM working and I swapped it for a new phone. I thought for sure these SHSH were from the most recent phone, but now I'm having my doubts since this is not working.

In other words, you cannot downgrade as this 4.1 is not meant for your new iphone. You might as well delete it so as not to confuse yourself

No every fw has its own unique shsh blob on a specific iphone
