Default Error 1601 (and other 1600's)

I've researched this issue and nothing has helped so far..

    Ok so here it goes..

    I got a new iPhone 3G with 4.2.1

Downgraded to 4.1 and installed iPad baseband.
Decided I wanted to go back to 4.2.1 (not sure why I downgraded to 4.1)
I used a custom IPSW. I downloaded 3 different ones and I still get the same error.

    Hopefully it's fixable... any ideas?

UPDATE: Pretty sure I gotta use iReb or just install 4.1 to fix this.. guess I'll try
