Iphone 3gs won't turn on 4.2.1cfw. error 1601

Hello everyone. I recently jailbroken my phone iphone 3gs 32gb(newer model) to 4.2.1 cfw (tethered Jailbreak) and unlocked it after restoring to 4.2 through itunes and got the error 1015.

programs used
- redsn0w_win_0.9.6b5.
- ultra snow 4.2

used the ff downloaded files to jailbreak.

i also updated it to the new broadband 6.15.00

All was working great until 1 day i accidentally turned off my phone. My battery got fully drained before i got home. I wasn't able to charge it for 4 days. When i tried to turn it back on, it wont(expecting to see the apple logo since its tethered but it was all black), so i plugged it on the wall charger the apple logo showed up.

I let the phone charge for 15 mins then pulled the plug out. The phone went back to its "dead state".

Plugged it to my pc through usb. No apple logo appeared. Opened itunes and it cant detect it anymore. Tried to reboot through redsnow it got stuck to the part waiting to reboot, but it entered DFU mode and was detected, so i cancelled it.

My next atempt was to restore it through itunes and just "re" jailbreak it. Tried to restore it using iPhone2,1_4.2.1_8C148a_Restore and got error 1601.

Tried to go to DFU PWND using redsnow and tried to restore it again same error. It always gets stuck in the preparing iphone for restore and i get the error 1601.

i also tried to reinstall itunes and all itunes related program.
using the latest 10.1 itunes.

you think it might be battery related problem or even hardware caused?

summary of problem and state.
1) phone turns on until the apple logo only when plugged to wall charger only, doesn't turn on when i plug it to my pc (black screen)

2)it wont turn on(home button), restart(home + power), when not plug to a wall charger(standard iphone charger). The Iphone is dead, not a single sign of life.

3)it goes to DFU mode. detected by both itunes and redsnow

4)error when trying to restore using itunes used both firmwares custom and standard.

5)upgraded broadband already 6.15.00, jaibroken, unlocked.

6)fails to reboot using red snow

7)almost threw it on the ground but didn't so no physical damage received. In good condition. It worked before and got the error after the battery drain while on apple logo.




I hope anyone can help me. I'm losing my wits over this. I might do number. 7

Did you edit your host file before? Have you tried this on another computer? Are you restoring to a custom firmware WITHOUT the iPad baseband upgrade?
