My iPod Touch 4.2.1 is impossible to Jailbreak

I've tried many different versions of redsn0w, in the end it gets stuck at "Uploading Ramdisk", there was only one time that it went past that step and got stuck at "Uploading Kernel" instead.

Then I tried GreenPois0n RC4, i follow the steps, pretty simple jailbreaking software, in the end it should be jailbroken, but no, my ipod shows a screen that says "Connect to iTunes" and when i do iTunes doesn't recognize my iPod, then i have to press both buttons for my iPod to restart.

And then i tried LimeRa1n RC1b, well, pretty much the same as GreenPois0n, in the end it says it has succesfully been jailbroken, except it really hasn't...

(Oh, btw... after i've tried each of these methods at least twice each, my ipod still doesn't have a cydia launcher)

I've watched videos on youtube, and in all of them, their ipods, iphones or ipads show a screen of commands (black background / white text) for a few seconds. My ipod hasn't done that this time, it did when i jailbroke 4.1 firmware, but not this one.

I really could use some help, i refuse to sync my ipod with my comp until it's jailbroken..

What gen is your itouch ?

Run redsn0w in xp compatibility mode and it will be a tethered jailbreak.

You should restore and try again. Make sure you are using the latest redsnow 0.9.6rc8. Greenpoison and limerain do not work on 4.2.1.

Also try running redsnow as administrator.

I know, i've tried several versions of redsn0w already, both in and out of administrator mode, both with or without windows xp compatibility.. redsn0w just won't do it..

Maybe hold off then until a untethered jailbreak is released. Or try a different computer.

Your iPT was on 4.1 out-of-the-box and jb'ed before, right? So obviously the limera1n bootrom exploit is present in hardware...

Two questions: do you know if you have 4.1(.0)/4.2b3 SHSH blobs? And what version(s) of redsn0w have you been trying to use?

Impossible that you can't jailbreak your ipod touch 4 at 4.2.1.
I did mine, first time, white cydia icon. Then tethered boot , cydia icon came back.
After update, freeze again at apple logo, then follow this guide : here
And everytime when you go into cydia and it needed a reboot, you have to do the youtube guide. You will be more experience after doing several times....

The only thing i am dissappointed is Iconociasm and shrink are not ported to 4.2.1 yet.
